Airtel Nigeria is beginning to make lot of people to fall in love with their network with their juicy data plans. For a GSM company that started around fifteen years ago in Nigeria, they have made a big impact in the area of Internet Connectivity for mobile phones. The plan which was formally pegged at 2GB for the same amount had been reviewed upward. In an SMS circulated by the company, they stated that they are ready to offer more data for the old price of 1500. To subscribe and enjoy the plan, kindly dial *440*16# on your blackberry phone, Iphone, Android smart phone , Modem, Wi-Fi and other internet devices. The Airtel 1500 subscription code is *440*16#.

For those that are using legacy Blackberry devices like the Bold series, the Curve series, the Touch series and other non BB 10 devices. You can enjoy the same THREE GIGABYTE “3GB” of data for a lesser amount of one thousand naira only “1 000”. The code for Airtel 3GB for 1,000 naira is *440*1# and it usable on all blackberry devices. This is a four “400” naira reduction from the former price of 1,400 charged for 3gb.

I can hear some complains about how Airtel Nigeria calculates data usage on non blackberry devices like android smart phones. From testimonies I have received, the 3GB for 1500 subscription is charged at a very fair rate although not the same rate as when it is used on a blackberry.
